Meet Amrutha Doniparthi, MD!
Clinical Instructor
Department of Medicine

Clinical Interests: My areas of interest are in pulmonary medicine and management of airway related disease processes both in the inpatient and outpatient setting. My next steps are pursuing a fellowship in PCCM. 

Research Interests: Primarily airway disease and physiological changes related to pulmonary hypertension and ILD. I also am very interested in supporting our diverse patient population with QI projects related to socioeconomic disparities in the clinical setting. 

Education Interests: Academic medicine with an emphasis on residency training and medical student education. My future goal is potentially be an associate program director in the future. 

Hobbies: Rock climbing, volunteering, and being a foodie.  

Fun Fact: I am originally from New York but have become a Tucsonan after moving here initially in 2013 for college. Fell in love with Tucson and have had the honor of completing both my bachelors, medical degree and residency here!

Meet Mohammad Hamidi, MD!

Clinical Interests: Adult cardiac surgery Coronary artery Bypass Grafting Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement Vascular Heart Disease Arrhythmia Surgery Complex Aortic Disease (i.e. Dissections / Aneurysms) Mechanical Circulatory Support Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.

Research Interests: Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, complex aortic valve redo operations. 

Education Interests: Cardiothoracic surgical education and operative decision-making Coronary artery bypass grafting, including complex and multi-arterial revascularization, Aortic surgery and complex aortic disease, Surgical management of vascular heart disease, Mechanical circulatory support, ECMO, and cardiogenic shock, Cardiothoracic critical care and perioperative management, Surgical anatomy and technical skills training, Simulation-based cardiothoracic surgery education Resident, Fellow, and medical student mentorship, Case-based learning, operative planning, and management of high-risk cardiac surgery, Evidence-based surgical practice and application of clinical guidelines, Quality Improvement, outcomes, and surgical performance assessment. 

Hobbies: I enjoy hiking, traveling, virtual aviation, and swimming (ex. swimmer on the National Jordanian Team).

Fun Fact: I do love ramen!

Meet Brandon Lucke-Wold, MD, PhD!

Clinical Interests: Endovascular, cerebrovascular, spine. 

Research Interests: Subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, and neurotrauma. 

Education Interests: Resident education

Hobbies: Running, chess, martial arts

Fun Fact: Enjoy spending time with my 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son.
