Before becoming a fellow at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, Dr. Sinan Abdul-Wahab served several years as a hospitalist, most recently with Pioneer Medical Group/Adventhealth Hospital in Zephyrhills, Florida (2023-25). Prior to that, he was at Tucson’s Northwest Medical Center and the Oro Valley Hospital (2022-23). He also did several stints in clinical observerships or as a research coordinator, assistant or volunteer prior to his residency, including at PURA Clinic in Fayetteville, North Carolina (2018-19), Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital in Ohio (2017-18), Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston (2017) and Texas Medical Center/Park Plaza Hospital in Houston (2017), and the Southern California Research Center in Coronado, California, and the San Diego East County Health Center (2015-16). In Iraq, Dr. Abdul-Wahab was a resident physician at Medical City Complex/Alanbar Teaching Hospital in Baghdad (2012-15) and the Haditha General Hospital in Haditha (2011-12), before moving to the United States.
