Dr. Sabat is a recognized leader in in academic radiology with expertise in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into radiology workflows, enterprise imaging, and the advancement of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). Prior to joining the department, Dr. Sabat served as an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he contributed extensively to clinical practice, resident and fellow education, research, and departmental leadership. His academic interests focus on leveraging emerging technologies to improve imaging efficiency, quality, and patient care outcomes.

Dr. Sabat currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee for the Association of Academic Radiology (AAR) and is an active member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR). Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys reading, traveling, and investing.
