About the Study Readiness Assessment
The SRA Project is a two-part research related program that the college rolled out as a pilot about a year ago. The first part offers merit review and the second part assesses packet completeness for investigator-initiated research. The project has reviewed about 120 research projects since its conception. Its goals are to provide researchers with guidance on their projects, alignment with institutional priorities and improve human subjects protections. The second part also has the objective of improving time to activation once the project is sent to the university’s Office of Research & Partnership.
