This workshop is sponsored by the Arizona Biomedical Research Centre and hosted by the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. It follows the highly successful format of the Clinical Trials Development Workshop that took place in June 2025, which Drs. Rischard and Mosier also co-hosted. Dr. Rischard’s clinical trials team includes a regulatory auditor and a clinical trials activation manager who’ll provide an overview of their support services available to investigators at the next workshop.
The June 2026 workshop includes a clinical trials expert panel discussion comprised of investigators with a proven track record of designing and implementing high-quality clinical trials. This event continues the tradition from the previous year’s successful, well-rated sessions while adding more of a focus for young investigators in the morning and seasoned investigators in the afternoon. The event organizing committee and agenda speak to the ongoing collaboration between the College of Medicine – Tucson, the College of Medicine – Phoenix and Banner Health. This event focuses on faculty, fellows, residents and medical students in addition to a broader audience, including researchers and clinicians from institutions across Southern Arizona.
