Event Schedule

Friday, November 7

8 a.m. Morning Tours 

Start with coffee and light pastries at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine (AWCIM), then explore campus highlights including AWCIM, the Coit Museum of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and the Anatomy Lab.

11:30 a.m. Innovations in Medicine Lunch Session 

Curious about what today’s most exciting physician-scientists are working on? Join us for an energizing lunch while we spotlight cutting-edge work by College of Medicine – Tucson faculty at the intersection of research, clinical care, and education. Enjoy fast-paced, high-impact talks designed to inspire curiosity and spark connection. CME credit is available for all eligible attendees*.

5:30 p.m. Homecoming Dinner 

Open to all MedCat alumni, this signature evening includes appetizers, two drink tickets, and a three-course dinner. Reconnect with classmates, faculty, and friends while enjoying a festive atmosphere. Class reunion photos will be taken during the event.

 

Saturday, November 8

4 hours before kickoff - ‘The Clinic’ Tailgate:

Join alumni, faculty, and friends for a spirited pre-game tailgate on the U of A Mall as the Wildcats face the Kansas Jayhawks. Enjoy a full meal, two drink tickets, and shaded seating — plus plenty of time to reconnect and celebrate.

We need at least 60 attendees to move forward. Please register early if you plan to join!

We’ve secured a group ticket link for the November 8 Homecoming football game — you can now purchase your seats directly!

Tickets are expected to sell out quickly due to Homecoming weekend demand. We encourage you to book early to ensure you’re seated near fellow alumni

Lodging 

We’ve secured a limited block of rooms at the beautiful Westin La Paloma for your convenience during Homecoming weekend. The special rate is $219/night (plus resort fees and taxes).

Maps and Parking on Campus

Self-pay parking is available at two locations on campus for morning tours and lunch CME:

Highland Parking Garage (1420 E Helen St.). This garage is west of the medical campus and is west-adjacent to the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, where the morning tours and lunch session will take place. It is also the closest parking garage for the evening dinner at the Health Sciences Innovation Building.
