Where are you from? I am originally from Egypt but I did move a lot.

What are your personal interests/hobbies? I love to cook, play sports, go on spontaneous adventures, spend time with my family and plan last-minute trips!

What are your professional interests? I am interested in health disparities, mental health, and developmental and behavioral pediatrics.

Why did you choose the College of Medicine – Tucson Pediatrics Residency Program? The exposure to border medicine, the opportunity to work with immigrants and refugees, the incredibly friendly people, and the sunshine!

What is your favorite thing about Tucson? Tucson is a small, cute city with lots of great food to try!

What are your non-medical goals during residency? To see new places, try new foods and meditate more.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I would love to be able to speak all the languages in the world. This includes speaking to animals!
