“Integrating Research, Education and Clinical Trial Access: COE (Community Outreach & Engagement) Efforts Across Southern Arizona”

Dr. Recio Boiles will speak about U of A Cancer Center (UACC) community and engagement efforts to reduce cancer disparities through culturally relevant programming and inclusive research practices. This includes discussion of UACC and ACTN COE endeavors through various partnerships, programs and initiatives, including the Community Assessment of Southern Arizona Survey (CASA), Community Academic Partnership Program (CAPP), Clinical Trial Oncology Navigator (CTON), ROSA (Research Outreach of Southern Arizona) Café and Let’s Taco About Cancer sessions, and the Learning with Oncology and Community Arizona Leaders (LOCAL) Symposium held April 11, 2025, in Tucson.
