Who is eligible?

AHSC Colleges, Departments, Sections and other AHSC Offices
A Web account on the AHSC server is available to all AHSC colleges, academic departments or sections, institutes, centers, projects, and research laboratory.

Student Organizations
Web accounts are available to health sciences-related student organizations that are listed in the Registered Student Organizations Web site. Please see the Registered Student Organizations Web site for a complete listing.

Individual Homepages
AHSC Web accounts are not available for personal use by students, faculty, or staff; however, main campus offers this service. For more information on personal sites, please visit http://homepage.web.arizona.edu/index.php.

Non-AHSC Organizations
Web sites for non-AHSC units or organizations are not hosted on the AHSC Web server.

Who is responsible for the Web server?

Biomedical Communications manages the AHSC Web server. Web site hosting is available for faculty and academic programs at the Arizona Health Sciences Center.

Assistance is provided , free of charge, for the following:

• Registration of [.EDU] domain names
• Setup of Web space on the AHSC server
• Setup of URCHIN account for Web site statistics

What support services are available?

Units are urged to develop Web pages that are professional looking and that follow The University of Arizona style guidelines including the use of the UA and College of Medicine graphic identity.

Biomedical Communications offers fee-based development services, including:

• Web site development and design
• Limited technical support for Web editing software
• Design and development of interactive Web applications
• Site maintenance and updates
