College of Medicine Tours

3:30 - 5 PM
College of Medicine - all tours will begin at Kiewit Auditorium

Get a behind-the-scenes tour of pain labs, a hard hat tour of the new Health Sciences Innovation Building or meet with anatomy instructor Norm Koelling and learn about the exciting developments in medical education and research at the UA College of Medicine - Tucson. Participation in the hard hat tour requires that you wear closed toe shoes and pants.  Hard hats will be provided.

There is no cost to attend this event, but registration in advance is required.
Tours will be available on a first come, first served basis.


College of Medicine Homecoming Reception

5 to 6:30 PM
UA Health Sciences Plaza

Join your fellow MedCats and colleagues from nursing, public health, and pharmacy for a fun evening under the stars. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, live music, and more. Classes of 1977, 1987, 1997 and 2007 – this is the place to start your reunion weekend activities.

After the reception, head over to the west side Old Main for the traditional homecoming bonfire and the crowning of the 2017 Homecoming King and Queen. Join the Pride of Arizona marching band, Wilbur and Wilma T. Wildcat, UA cheerleaders, the 2017 Homecoming court. The program begins with a march from the Bear Down Friday Night Pep Rally at Main Gate to the Old Main Fountain at approximately 7 p.m. Free shuttle service to and from the Health Sciences Plaza will be provided.

There is no cost to attend this event, but registration in advance is required.


Saturday, October 28

Wildcat for Life Tailgate Party & Parade

Time: 1:30 p.m.  Parade begins heading south on Cherry Avenue at 2:30 p.m.
UA Mall (corner of Cherry Ave. and University Blvd.)

Get ready for the game with friends and classmates at the official Wildcat for Life Tailgate Party. Bring the entire family for great food for purchase, entertainment, a photo booth, Wildcat merchandise and more! No registration necessary.

UA Center Mall across from the Optical Sciences Building (east of Cherry Ave. & University Blvd.)
$10 per person payable the day of the event at door.  No registration necessary
