Neuroscience
The Committee on Neuroscience, the faculty of the Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience, includes about seventy neuroscientists from twenty-one departments and academic units throughout the University. Their research interests range from molecular and biophysical mechanisms of single nerve cells in situ and in vitro to experimental and theoretical investigations of complex neural systems. Particular research strengths include cognitive and computational neuroscience, developmental and molecular neurobiology, insect neurobiology, neuropharmacology, neurogenetics mortal control, and disorders of speech, language, and cognitive function. Applications from prospective students should include GRE (standard and advanced) scores. MCAT scores may be considered in lieu of GREs.
