Scholarly Projects

Public Health, Prevention, Population Health and Policy (P4)

MD/MPH

P4 concentration students will have the option of entering the MD/MPH dual degree program. This program requires 5 years to complete. It requires completion of the 5 core MPH courses (epidemiology, biostatistics, social and behavioral health, environmental and occupational health, health management and policy), two courses designed specifically for dual degree students (issues and trends in public health, leadership) and 2 elective courses. The scholarly project will qualify as the MPH internship. Students can elect to complete the MPH course work in Tucson at the College of Public Health or in Phoenix, using distance learning technology.
