Our medical students have diverse backgrounds and come from communities large and small, urban and rural. Some of them are the first in their family to have graduated from college, or the first in their community to go to medical school. Many of them are role models who inspire the younger generations to study hard, believe in themselves and aim high in pursuit of their dreams.
We envision the elimination of financial barriers that prevent talented students from achieving their dream of becoming a physician and of pursuing the world of wonder that is modern medicine.
When our vision is achieved, we will attract the best and the brightest from all corners of Arizona. These future physicians will not have to weigh their medical school dreams against their financial realities.
