The Research Office, directed by Sangita Pawar, PhD, serves as an information portal to facilitate the initiation and implementation of research activity at the College of Medicine. The services provided include research space assignment, oversight of research core support services, new investigator workshops, post-doctoral workshops, digital grants collection, Frontiers in Medical Research (FMR) seminars, the annual FMR poster forum, processing of bridge funding requests, proposal routing sheets and indirect costs waiver requests and support to clinical research coordinator groups. The Research Office staff also provides administrative support to projects initiated by the Dean's Research Council as specified by the dean.
