UA Medical Students Honored for Exceptional Volunteer Service To Underserved

program. At Back to School Night, refugee children in Tucson receive
a full set of clothing and school supplies in August each year.
Six students from The University of Arizona College of Medicine recently were singled out for their exceptional volunteer efforts on behalf of underserved Southern Arizonans at the College's 17th Annual Medical Student Awards Ceremony.
The honorees are all active participants in the College's Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) Program, which provides learning opportunities in clinical skills, program leadership, health advocacy and health education and promotion. » read more
